PV system design and industrial cleaning engineering

Engineering from feasibility to construction drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants, and design of panel cleaning for industrial sites: method, frequency and infrastructure.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

PV system design and engineering

We design solar energy systems on factory, warehouse and commercial rooftops or on ground-mounted sites, from feasibility to construction drawings.

01

Pre-feasibility and site survey

Roof or land survey, shading analysis, consumption profile and a preliminary assessment of grid connection capacity.

02

Yield simulation

Module and inverter selection, string design, annual yield estimate and performance ratio (PR) calculation.

03

Electrical design

DC and AC single-line diagrams, cable sizing and voltage drop calculations, protection coordination, earthing and lightning protection; MV connection and substation where required.

04

Mounting structure and layout

Module layout, row spacing, mounting structure selection for wind and snow loads; coordination of the structural assessment on rooftops.

05

Connection and approval file

Preparation of the drawings, calculations and documents required for the grid connection application and design approval, in line with applicable regulations.

06

Construction support

Technical specification and bill of materials, site inspection during construction, and technical support for commissioning and acceptance tests.

INDUSTRIAL PV CLEANING

Industrial PV cleaning design

Dirt building up on module surfaces reduces yield, especially in industrial zones and dusty sites. We engineer the cleaning method, frequency and required infrastructure for each site’s conditions.

01

Soiling and loss analysis

Estimating the yield loss caused by dust, pollen, bird droppings and industrial pollution from production data and site observations.

02

Method and frequency

Comparing manual, semi-automatic and robotic cleaning options; a cleaning schedule based on the soiling rate.

03

Water and access infrastructure

Water demand and quality (with treatment if needed), supply lines and storage, on-site access routes; lifelines and walkways for safe work on rooftops.

04

Maintenance plan and cost

Work safety procedures, cleaning methods that respect the module manufacturer’s warranty terms, and comparison of cleaning cost with recovered yield.

APPLICATIONS

For which sites?

  • Factory and warehouse rooftops
  • Industrial park facilities
  • Ground-mounted solar plants
  • Commercial buildings and car parks
  • Agricultural and cold storage facilities

The scope of engineering, required licences and division of work are agreed for each project at the quotation stage.
